In order to cope with the construction of the fourth Macau –Taipa sea-crossing bridge, the route layout of construction project for the connection line of Wai Long Road is basically executed in accordance with the road network plan of Zone E of Macau New Urban Land.
 

According to the tender documents, the location of this project is at the Zone E of Macau New Urban Land, its main works includes the construction of the connecting flyover from Wai Long Road and the Pac On Ferry Terminal into the Fourth Bridge, the reorganization of the surrounding road network and the improvement of the underground sewers, covering an area of approximately 44,500 m2.  The design of the connecting flyover is plan to use steel box girder with a total weight of 3760 tons.

In order to cooperate with the relocation of the surrounding electrical grid, the connection line will be divided into two stages to execute. The first stage of the construction is the connecting flyover from Wai Long Road and the Pac On Ferry Terminal into the Fourth Bridge, the dock ramp bridge, part of airport ramp bridge, and the road reorganization of Estrada de Pac On and Rotunda de Pac On. The contract construction period is 496 working days. The second stage of the construction is the remaining part of the airport ramp bridge and the road reorganization of the northbound line of Wai Long Road. The contract construction period is 285 working days.
