Arrival Points of the Macau-Taipa Fourth Bridge - Avenida Wai Long

Scope of Work:

The Project is located in Zone E of the new urban landfill area, and the work includes the construction of viaducts from Avenida Wai Long and the maritime terminal Pac On to the Macau-Taipa Fourth Bridge, as well as the reorganization of the sewage and road networks on its periphery, with a construction area about 44,500m2. In order to coordinate the relocation of the electricity network in the area, the construction works will be carried out in two phases. The first phase includes the construction of viaducts from Avenida Wai Long and the maritime terminal Pac On to the Macau-Taipa Fourth Bridge, access ramp to the maritime terminal, a part of the airport access ramp, as well as the road reorganization of the Estrada de Pac On and Pac On Roundabout. The second phase will cover the execution of the remaining part of the airport access ramp, as well as the road reorganization of the north line of Av. Wai Long.

Current Progress:

At present, the first phase of construction is in progress. The structure of the viaducts from Avenida Wai Long to the Macau-Taipa Fourth Bridge has been completed, and the installation of the bridge deck facilities has been completed,the construction of the bridge deck road work is still in progress (about 50% completed). The road work of the Bridge is under construction. The structure of the viaducts from the maritime terminal Pac On to the Macau-Taipa Fourth Bridge has been completed, and the installation of the bridge deck facilities has begun. The overall reorganization work of Estrada de Pac On, including the sewage, safety supervision, road foundation, and road surfaces etc., has been completed by about 85%. The overall reorganization work of Avenida do Porto de Pac On, including the retaining walls, the sewage, and the sidewalk, has been completed by about 30%.
