Construction Project No. 24/2022 - "Public Office Building Construction Project at Lot 25, New Reclamation Area, Outer Harbor - Foundation and Basement"

Project Scope:

 The project is located at Lot 25 in the New Reclamation Area of the Outer Harbor, covering an area of 6,480 square meters. It plans to construct two government office buildings with 12 and 17 stories respectively, and a three-level basement parking garage for government office use.

 The scope of this contract includes pile foundations, excavation and basement retaining structures, and the construction of reinforced concrete structures from the basement levels up to the ground floor. The pile foundations use bored piles: 24 piles with a diameter of 1.5 meters, 26 piles with a diameter of 2.0 meters, and 50 piles with a diameter of 2.5 meters. The basement retaining walls use 508mm diameter steel pipe pile walls with H-beam braces, with a waterproof curtain applied to the exterior of the steel pipe piles. The bottom of the excavation pit includes 800mm diameter high-pressure jet grouting piles for soil improvement. The basement structure is primarily reinforced concrete.

Project Current Progress:

The project has currently reached 92.80% of its overall progress on schedule. The bored pile foundation, retaining steel pipe pile, diaphragm wall, soil improvement, and steel bracing column installation processes have been completed, marking the successful achievement of the first milestone. Additionally, the excavation and steel structure support system installation processes have been completed, and the structural concrete work is proceeding according to the planned schedule. As of mid-July, the completion rate for the structural concrete work is 6.4%. The project is planned to be completed in October 2024.
