Construction Project of Temporary Housing Units in Lot C (C1) in Areia Preta Lot P

Scope of Work:

This project (Tender C1), one part of the temporary housing project in Areia Preta Lot P owned by Macau Urban Renewal Limited, comprises the construction of two 41-storey-high and two 50-storey-high residential towers of temporary housing units. After the whole Lot P project is completed, there will be a basement parking lot, a four-storey group building and four residential towers. The basement first floor is the parking lot and the equipment rooms; the ground floor is used for the bus terminal, residential lobbies and parking lot entrance, mechanical and electrical rooms and shops; the first to third floors are used for the parking lots and shops; the fourth floor to the top floors of each building are the green platform and residential floors respectively; there will also be two refuge floors. The total construction area of the buildings is about 161,800 square meters.

Current Progress:

As of October 2023, the structural engineering of the tower has been completed to the 38th floor. According to the construction plan, the T1 and T2 towers (41 floors high) are expected to complete the structural capping before November 2023, and the T3 and T4 towers (41 floors high) are expected to complete the structural capping. 50 floors) is expected to complete the structural capping in early December 2023, and the construction of the computer room layer and water tank structure is planned to be completed before the 2024 Lunar New Year.

In terms of building decoration and mechanical and electrical engineering, the construction sample floors of each residential floor of the tower are expected to be completed by the end of October 2023, including masonry work, wall plastering, ceiling and wall plastering, and the first phase of mechanical and electrical embedded/hidden pipeline installation, etc. It has been completed up to the 20th floor; for the podium, the interior decoration work has been carried out in an orderly manner by wet work by floor, and the first phase of installation of the exterior wall project has also begun.
