Project Introduction:

The project is located at Macao Peninsula, starting from the sewage pumping station at the north of Alameda Dr. Carlos D'Assumpção along the Avenida da Amizade to the Macao Sewage Treatment Plant. The sewage pipeline will be laid and installed, with a total length of about 2613 meters. The project is divided into three sections, the front open cutting section, the tunnel construction section and the rear open cutting section. The length of the front open cutting section is about 115 meters, and sewage pipes with diameters of 1 and 1.2 meters are installed in the open-cutting ditch of 2.5 meters deep. The tunnel section is about 2,279 meters and the shield construction method is used to install a pressure sewage pipeline with a diameter of 2 meters at a depth of 13 meters underground. And a departure well and an arrival well will be built. In the rear open cutting section, a sewage pipeline with a diameter of 1.5 meters is installed in a ditch of 2.5 meters deep built with open cutting method, and energy dissipation wells and confluence wells will be constructed.

Current Progress:

The project is currently progressing according to the progress plan, and 73.6% of the total construction volume has been completed. The project has completed all the work on engineering design at the first engineering node, the construction of the launch shaft of the second node and all the work of the shield machine arriving at the site as planned, and all the work of the shield tunnel drilling at the third node has been completed as planned, and the shield boring machine has been dismantled and left the site. The installation of pipes in the tunnel at Point 4 is proceeding as planned, and the excavation and laying of pipelines in the post-cut-and-cover section are being carried out simultaneously, as well as the construction of energy dissipation wells and manence wells in the Macau Sewage Works ... And so on to work. The project is expected to be completed in January 2024.
