“Macau-Taipa Fourth Bridge - Avenida Wai Long”

Project Name: Project No. 4/2021 – “Construction of the Road Network on the Periphery of the Departure and Arrival Points of the Macau-Taipa Fourth Bridge - Avenida Wai Long”

Scope of Work:

The Project is located in Zone E of the new urban landfill area, and the work includes the construction of viaducts from Avenida Wai Long and the maritime terminal Pac On to the Macau-Taipa Fourth Bridge, as well as the reorganization of the sewage and road networks on its periphery, with a construction area about 44,500m2. In order to coordinate the relocation of the electricity network in the area, the construction works will be carried out in two phases. The first phase includes the construction of viaducts from Avenida Wai Long and the maritime terminal Pac On to the Macau-Taipa Fourth Bridge, access ramp to the maritime terminal, a part of the airport access ramp, as well as the road reorganization of the Estrada de Pac On and Pac On Roundabout. The second phase will cover the execution of the remaining part of the airport access ramp, as well as the road reorganization of the north line of Av. Wai Long.

Current Progress:

At present, the first phase of construction is in progress. The main body of the viaducts from Avenida Wai Long to the Macau-Taipa Fourth Bridge has been completed, and the installation of the bridge deck facilities is still in progress. And the main body of the viaducts from the maritime terminal Pac On to the Macau-Taipa Fourth Bridge has been half completed. The reorganization of Estrada de Pac On is in progress, and 60% of the overall works have been completed, including the sewage, safety supervision, road foundation, and road surfaces etc. The reorganization work of Avenida do Porto de Pac On has begun.
