Project No. 26/2021 – “Construction of Public Housing at Avenida de Venceslau de Morais - Superstructure Work”

Scope of Work:

This project is one of the sections within the public housing construction project under the Macao Public Works Bureau, and our company is the general contractor responsible for the construction of the superstructure.

The project includes a bus terminal, underground public parking, shops, and government service facilities, including an environmental education center and a food waste treatment room. The podium is divided into two wings, with a dedicated bus lane on the ground level between the two wings, providing access and operation for fire trucks.

After completion, there will be a three-level underground parking facility with a total of 500 parking spaces for light vehicles and 338 parking spaces for motorcycles. There are three residential tower blocks: Tower I has a two-level podium, with residential floors from the 3rd to the 32nd floor; Tower II has a three-level podium, with residential floors from the 4th to the 34th floor; Tower III has a three-level podium, with residential floors from the 4th to the 23rd floor. In total, there will be 1,590 units, with 885 units of Type T1 and 705 units of Type T2.

Current Progress:

The project commenced construction on December 30, 2021, and successfully completed the structural topping-out on April 18, 2023, three months ahead of the contract milestone 1 (structural work completion). The fire inspection was completed as scheduled on June 26, 2024.

Currently, all construction work for the project is substantially complete, and it is in the stages of government inspection, defect rectification, and final cleaning. Of the tower's 600 units, cleaning has been completed, and 204 units have been inspected by the Housing Bureau. The bus station and basement levels in the podium have undergone the first inspection by the Transport Bureau; all mechanical and electrical equipment has entered the trial operation stage.

The project completion date has been confirmed as July 27, 2024.
