Scope of Work:

The project is located to the southwest of the Hospital Conde S. Januário, between Estrada Nova and Estrada do Visconde de S. Januário. The lot area is 31698.16 square meters, with the total construction area of 30899.96 square meters, of which the parking area is 6098.03 square meters. The A2-level eight-storey building is 35.60 meters high (calculated from Estrada Nova, including the ground floor). The patient entrance and exit are located at the fifth floor, the staff entrance and exit are located at the sixth floor, and the logistics entrance and exit are located at the ground floor.

The building has four floors of isolation wards, each with 20 standard single isolation wards, with a total of 80 beds. To facilitate staff movement between the Specialty Building and the existing Hospital Conde S. Januário as well as the dormitory of the frontline medical staff, the pedestrian viaduct and underground passages are set up on the seventh and fifth floors of the Building to connect the two buildings.

Current Progress:

The project has successfully completed the structural topping-out on March 19, 2022, ahead of the contract node 1 (structural topping-out) on May 4, 2022.

At present, works such as interior decoration, mechanical and electrical engineering, curtain walls and steel structures have been carried out. In the interior decoration works, more than 70% of the plastering work is completed, followed by drying work; 50% of the mechanical and electrical works is completed; 70% of the curtain wall works is completed, and the demolition of the canopy frame has started; The pedestrian viaduct has been installed, and the renovation of the viaduct is in progress, and the pedestrian viaduct connecting the dormitory will be installed in August 2022.

The sub-projects of this project have been carried out in an orderly manner, the overall progress of the project is in line with the plan, and we are confident that the project will be completed within the contract period.
