Scope of Work:

The project is located to the southwest of the Hospital Conde S. Januário, between Estrada Nova and Estrada do Visconde de S. Januário. The lot area is 31698.16 square meters, with the total construction area of 30899.96 square meters, of which the parking area is 6098.03 square meters. The A2-level eight-storey building is 35.60 meters high (calculated from Estrada Nova, including the ground floor). The patient entrance and exit are located at the fifth floor, the staff entrance and exit are located at the sixth floor, and the logistics entrance and exit are located at the ground floor.

The building has four floors of isolation wards, each with 20 standard single isolation wards, with a total of 80 beds. To facilitate staff movement between the Specialty Building and the existing Hospital Conde S. Januário as well as the dormitory of the frontline medical staff, the pedestrian viaduct and underground passages are set up on the seventh and fifth floors of the Building to connect the two buildings.

Current Progress:

The project has successfully completed the structural topping-out on March 19, 2022, ahead of the contract node 1 (structural topping-out) on May 4, 2022.

At present, the curtain wall project of this project has been roughly completed, the scaffolding of the external wall has been completely removed, and finishing and cleaning work is in progress.

More than 95% of the mud and water works have been completed; 90% of the paint works and ceiling works have been completed; the installation of medical airtight doors has been installed and is currently undergoing commissioning work; more than 50% of the rubber flooring works have been completed; wooden cabinet furniture cooperation The site progress has been arranged to arrive and install in batches.

80% of the overall mechanical and electrical engineering has been completed, and all special projects are working hard to prepare for the testing and debugging of various systems.

The steel structure and curtain wall works of the two footbridges connecting the Peak Hospital and the dormitories of frontline medical staff have been completed and the sheds have been demolished smoothly. The interior decoration process of the footbridges is now in progress.

In order to cooperate with the permanent power supply and water supply of this project, the drainage wells and road surface resurfacing works of the peripheral sidewalks and roads have been started in November 2022, and the permanent electricity and water meters will be installed as soon as possible to prepare for subsequent complex and extensive testing of various electromechanical systems.

Overall, the sub-projects of this project have been carried out in an orderly manner, with satisfactory progress.
